Oak Shores is in the Town of Crosss Roads, Texas. The residents of Oaks Shores are proud participants on the Town Council and various Town Council committees.
As a service to the residents of Oak Shores and the citizens of Cross Roads, we have posted the following infomation.
On April 23, 1973, Cross Roads became a town with a population of approximately 200 residents and 2 square miles. Today the population is about 600 and 6.687 square miles. Cross Roads is located at the junction of Highway 380 and Highway 377 about 8 miles east of The City of Denton, the county seat of Denton County. Currently Cross Roads does not have a property tax.
Cross Roads is defined as a General Law City. A mayor and a town council of five members represent residents.
